In the dictionary, durability means the ability to withstand wear, pressure, or damage. For producers, durability means minimal downtime in the field. With a tight seeding window and the increasing size of farms, farmers like you invest a significant amount in your equipment and inputs.
For Morris, this means that we do everything we can to ensure that you can be confident that you’ll have minimal downtime when it’s time to head into the field.
Testing both in-house and in the field under different conditions allows our engineers to gather data used in predictive applications: when, how often, and under what circumstances might a part fail? Our durability management process is based on the development of engineering, testing and manufacturing systems that allow us to plan for testing and improvements based on previous experiences, customer requirements, and the data we collect. We can’t possibly predict and test for every possible failure but through this process, we strive to identify as many as possible before a product enters the market.
Our relatively small and responsive culture gives us the ability to shift gears quickly to engineer and test improvements. In our commitment to implementing new technologies into our processes that improve our customer’s experience, we haven’t lost sight of how important durability is to farmers. It’s built into our culture from top to bottom – from R&D to testing to service, to constantly talking to our customers to gain insights into how our equipment performs in the field.
This commitment to customer satisfaction and feedback is evident across Morris. We’ve been awarded an ISO 9001:2015 certification. To earn this designation, organizations must demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
When issues do arise, as every farmer knows they might, we also offer the Morris 360 Parts and Service™ phone line. By giving our customers the ability to talk to a Morris employee in parts or service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from April 1 to June 15 every year, we can be sure that downtime is minimized as much as possible.
