The RAZR Disc Drill developed by Morris Industries received the Henty Machinery Field Days “Machine of the Year” at the competition in Australia. Morris distributor, McIntosh & Son entered the RAZR into this year’s competition. This year a record was broken with more than 30 entries. The award announced on the opening day, this “farmers’ choice’’ award was presented to the most outstanding new piece of agricultural machinery exhibited at the Henty Machinery Field Days is judged by an independent panel of regional primary producers.
The farmer-inspired disc drill offers the latest technology and efficiency. MacIntosh & Son representative Michael McCormick said “the disc drill provides better penetration and ground following, as well as excellent seed to soil contact. The walking beam is particularly unique.”
Judging criteria included the machine’s purpose and suitability, scope of application, construction, ease of maintenance and service, ease of operation and adjustment, availability of parts and overall value for money.
