Saskatoon, SK – Morris is excited to be part of the Versatile Heavy Metal Tour, which starts in Spirit River, Alberta on July 7 and ends in Morden, Manitoba on July 25, 2009.
Producers can get an exceptional hands-on experience of the Versatile four-wheel drive tractors. In many locations they also get the opportunity to pull the Morris Contour Drill and EIGHT Series XL Air Cart and to discuss this new seeding equipment with Morris factory representatives.
“Morris is delighted to support and be part of the Versatile Heavy Metal Tour. What better opportunity for farmers to feel the power, reliability and critical technology of Versatile than by pulling air seeding equipment, says Randy Ellis, Director, Marketing and Sales North America.” “There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Contour Drill, and farmers are anxious to see this drill working”, says Ellis.
The independent contour opener features parallel linkage for ultra precise seed and fertilizer placement. The single shank design of the Contour Drill provides superior trash clearance and lower draft requirements.
Keith Lyon, Morris District Manager says, “I see this as a tremendous opportunity for Morris. They will have a number of pre-qualified farmers there as well as a number of other potential customers at this event. It is a great opportunity for us to generate some interest and momentum in the Contour Drills in the summer at a time of the year when I have found it tough to get farmers together”.
